The role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an experienced Traffic Operator to join our team in the day to day operation of a UK vehicle fleet.
Key Tasks
• Routeing/scheduling Drivers and vehicles
• Driver Supervision
• Utilising the companies resources as effectively as possible
• Liaising with customers and responding to their demands
• Keeping all systems up to date
Hours of Work:
Shift system in place covering the hours between 0600hrs & 1900hrs

Person Specification:
In order to be successful in this position you will need previous UK Transport experience and have a can do attitude. You will need to be self-motivated, proactive and strategic in your approach, have good computer skills, knowledge of current legislation regarding Drivers tachograph rules and Working Time Directive and be confident in dealing with Drivers.
Key Accountabilities:
Working closely within the Traffic team and reporting to the Transport Manager you will be involved in the day-to-day planning and routing of the Company’s vehicles, drivers and sub-contractors in the most cost effective way possible, using and keeping up to date all the systems available, while ensuring the fleet is run in a legal manner delivering high quality operational performance.
